We are seeking a Service Coordinator in Gaylord, Michigan who is compassionate, enjoys new challenges, and has a passion for working with people. Service Coordinators assist residents with access to health insurance, health care, transportation, and nutritious food, as well as advocate on their behalf to various agencies and local community services. The ideal candidate will strive to create happy residents through providing superior service, maintaining a positive attitude, working collaboratively with the site team, and be a motivated self-starter. The ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries while still treating others with dignity and kindness is a must.

You Have:

  • Working knowledge of community services in the area
  • Knowledge of eligibility requirements and procedures for applying for federal and state programs
  • Strong advocacy abilities
  • Integrity
  • Communication skills
  • Bachelors degree in social work, sociology, psychology, or related field
  • Minimum two years’ experience in human services
